The Pioneer News covers Bullitt County events. It contains a mixture of news and features, including a large amount of school coverage. A sports section is included in each newspaper covering high school sports, auto racing and features on local sports participants.

The editorial page, featuring local cartoonist Paul Coyle, runs each Wednesday.
