 MOUNT WASHINGTON - No greater need exists than the basic need to eat, unfortunately, millions of Americans go hungry every day. 

According to worldhunger.org, U.S. hunger rates dramatically increased between 2008 and 2010. 

In 2008 approximately one in seven Americans were recorded as being “food insecure,” the highest number ever recorded, according to the site.

Addressing hunger in the Mount Washington area, Mount Washington Community Ministries is committed to providing temporary assistance to families and individuals.
