Bullitt East in the Florida Sun

By Mike Farner

MOUNT WASHINGTON - With some nagging injuries slowing down the offense, the Bullitt East Chargers turned to their defense last week as they competed in the Southern Resort Beach Blow-Out in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The biggest injury is to 6-6 junior forward Elliott Young who suffered back spasms while on the trip. He played part of the first game and then did not play from that point forward. In addition, guard Luke Francke is still slowed by a sprained ankle he suffered in the King of the Bluegrass event before Christmas.
