SHEPHERDSVILLE-- Students at the Adelante Hispanic Achievers school in Jefferson County are gifted in their educational pursuits.
But, when it comes to knowing about the environment, program director Mara Maldonado says there is much the students in grades 6-10 still have to learn.
Thanks to a partnership with Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, students are getting a hands-on learning experience about nature and about the environment.
