Election 2018

SHEPHERDSVILLE — Everything she had done in her life was focused on some day becoming a chief prosecutor.

Shelly Alvey has gotten a crash course feel of the commonwealth’s attorney office in Bullitt County as she was appointed last fall to the position vacated when Michael Mann retired.

She is more than ready to secure a full term for the office she had been pointing toward for years.

“I love it,” said Alvey.

Even before Mann retired, Alvey had filed her intent to run for the office.
