SHEPHERDSVILLE - An audit of the financial records for Bullitt County government revealed a dozen deficiencies.
The audit, released on Thursday by Crit Luallen, auditor of public accounts for Kentucky, disclosed areas where Bullitt County records failed to meet the standards expected of the governmental agency.
The deficiencies of county government recordkeeping included concerns with the paperwork of the detention center.
Of the recommendations, all those involved in the process said that cures are not impossible.
