The AWANA Club (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) was designed to host games and activities while learning God's word through verse memorization.

Norht Bulltt Christian youth director Ray Wiseman hosts the weekly events held every Wednesday during church night.

Children are divided into three age groups including Cubbies (pre-schoolers), Sparks (grades K-2) and Truth and Training (grades 3-5).

Opening night included physical activities presented Olympic-style and the kids celebrating with "the world's largest banana split."

Each week the AWANA club features a different fun theme based on holidays, sports, games and various activities.

AWANA membership is $25 for the entire year through May 8. Events take place on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 p.m.

Parents and families are invited to attend a supper provided by the church beginning at 5:45 p.m. Dinner tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children.
