SHEPHERDSVILLE - Starting back to school when it is an observed holiday for many workers across the country?
Sounds like a gamble?
Well, it looks like it was an excellent decision by the calendar committee for the Bullitt County Public School System.
Although few school districts were back at work on Monday, Bullitt County numbers were probably not as bad as some may have anticipated.
Superintendent Keith Davis said that preliminary figures put the attendance mark for students at 91.6 percent.
