Recently I visited an acquaintance of mine who, unfortunately, became an inmate of the Bullitt County Detention Center. While there, I discovered that all his undergarments were taken away from him as he was processed into the system. He was allowed, however, to purchase new ones from the detention center at a high cost. When I asked him if he needed anything, he informed me that he could use some underwear and undershirt (long john type) but that I would have to leave money with the clerk who would put it on the books for him to draw from.
