SHEPHERDSVILLE - A slow start was no problem for the Bullitt Central Lady Cougars on Tuesday in the second semi-final of the Girls’ 24th District Tournament on their home court.
After scoring just seven points in the first quarter against Southern, the Lady Cougars exploded for 22 points in the second frame and then coasted to a 58-49 victory. It was the first post-season win for the Lady Cougars since 2008 and the first win in the semi-finals since 2006.
