SHIVELY - Ambushed coming out of the gate, the Bullitt Central Cougars righted the ship on Tuesday and played three strong quarters against Pleasure Ridge Park before suffering a 79-65 loss.
In a rare boys' first start to the doubleheader at PRP, the Cougars fell behind 27-13 in the first quarter as the Panthers connected on six three-pointers. From that point on, the Cougars played the state's fourth-ranked team on even terms.
