BARDSTOWN - Bullitt East and Bullitt Central met on the same cross-country course recently with strong results for both squads in the Bernie Keene Invitational at Nelson County High School.
The two squads were especially competitive in the girls’ race that day as in a race with eight teams and 74 runners, Bullitt East came home in first place while Bullitt Central finished second. The Lady Chargers had a total of 55 points while Bullitt Central had 70, one point better than the host team.
