SHEPHERDSVILLE - A bee apparently caused an accident along Highway 61 Tuesday morning.
Shepherdsville Police Officer Ken Proffitt said the driver of a 1998 Toyota Corolla lost control after she was stung by a bee.
Proffitt said the driver, a white female, 46, from Pioneer Village, was headed northbound along Highway 61 near the Conestoga Parkway intersection just before noon.
The driver's car flipped on its side and came to rest in the brush along the northeast corner of the intersection.
Bullitt County EMS transported the driver to Jewish Hospital Medical Center South. Proffitt said the driver received only minor injuries.
Bullitt County Sheriffs, Shepherdsville Fire and Zoneton Fire units also responded to the scene.
