SHEPHERDSVILLE — The first portion of bids for the southern expansion of the Shepherdsville sewer system came in over $2 million under estimates.
And officials are hoping bids to be opened on Dec. 8 for the sewer plant expansion will also be under the cost estimates.
In three bids that drew a large number of contractors, Shepherdsville officials did not accept any of the bids.
Instead, engineer Rob Campbell of QK4 will analyze the bids and make a recommendation for the Shepherdsville City Council at its next meeting.
