SHEPHERDSVILLE - A county agency has approved the continuation of a top-soil removal company even though several neighbors opposed the application.
The Bullitt County Board of Adjustment approved a conditional-use permit for Bob Jones.
A previous owner started removing top soil on property along Long Lick Creek off Beech Grove Road in 2001 with a conditional-use permit.
Applicant Bobby Jones said he only removed 40-50 loads of top soil each year from the property.
