SHEPHERDSVILLE -- A Bullitt Countian will take a big step in her first political race in an effort to secure a seat in the state Senate for the first time in many decades.
Brenda Board will challenge Dan Seum in the Republican primary for the newly-revamped 38th Senate district.
There is no Democratic challenger in the fall.
