SHEPHERDSVILLE - Under a new state requirement, small in-home day cares must now receive conditional use permits to operate.
Michael and Tracey Goodlett were the latest operators to seek approval from the Bullitt County Board of Adjustment.
The facility is located on West Oak Street in Lebanon Junction next to St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Tracey Goodlett said she has been operating the service for 15 years but the state is now requiring a letter of approval from the planning and zoning office.
