A bounty of support made the 3rd Annual Christmas Day of Bounty of Hope a huge success. With an outpouring of help, 225 meals were served to those in Bullitt County. Included were many who are less fortunate, to residents of Green Meadows Nursing Home in Mount Washington, and to some of the first responders in our community such as Dispatch and EMS. Volunteers, toys, pies and cakes all were in abundance. From the families and children of the St. Aloysius school were collected and wrapped the overflow of gifts, to the kitchen crew who worked without exhaustion to order and prepare all of the food days in advance, the food runners who made deliveries, the cooks, the cleaning folks, to those who prepared and/or dropped off desserts, to Mr. and Mrs. Riggs and Santa Claus and to Centerview, the live entertainment to St. Aloysius for hosting and donating a $700 collection, the folks at JOM Pharmaceuticals for the huge food drop, to Bruce Johnson and Bullitt County PVA, to Piazza Produce and to Chris Roberson Allstate Insurance, to Publishers, to private donors, and to all of those who contributed in any portion and in any manner - THANK YOU!
Thank you for helping to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter and hopefully, yours was a little brighter too! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and God Bless! Hope to see you again next year.
