The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a red flag warning for Bullitt County through 6 p.m. Monday.
The combination of windy conditions along with low humidity and high temperatures could result in dangerous fire situations.
At 3:40 p.m. Nichols Fire units responded to the Fort Knox area near Mt. Eden to assist with a field fire. Southeast Bullitt Fire units were called on standby.
A large amount of Kentucky has been placed under the red flag warning.
