Bring your old tires for disposal on October 6-8

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - It’s one of the most requested services that the county provides.

This week, Bullitt County officials, with the assistance of the state Division of Waste Management, will host a tire amnesty program.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, residents of Bullitt County will be allowed to bring their old tires to a location off Buffalo Run Road for disposal.

Solid waste coordinator Larry Hatfield will have the assistance of the Bullitt County Road Department and inmates from the Bullitt County Detention Center.
