The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Highway District 5 reports the following roadwork scheduled for the week of January 25:

Jefferson County:

Interstate 64:  The entrance and exit ramps at Ninth Street will be closed Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, from 5:00-9:00 a.m. The interstate will be closed in both directions intermittently, up to 15 minutes at a time, at mile point 3.8 (Ninth Street interchange).  These closures will allow for utility work.

Interstate 264 (Watterson Expressway):  Lane closures and delays possible between US 60 (Shelbyville Road) and US 42 (Brownsboro Road), mile points 19.8 and 22.2, for construction of an interchange at Westport Road.  The speed limit will be reduced to 45 MPH in the construction zone.  Lane closures and delays are also possible on Westport Road between Hubbards Lane and I-264 (mile points 0.9 and 1.9).  Speed limit on Westport Road has been reduced to 25 MPH in the construction zone.  

Interstate 71:  Shoulder closures and delays possible between mile points 8 and 11 due to work on the TRIMARC expansion.

KY 1631 (Crittenden Drive):  Roadway will be reduced to one lane in each direction at mile point 0.85 near Gate 3 of the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.  These lane closures are schedule from 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, allowing for utility work.

US 60 (Shelbyville Road), KY 155 (Taylorsville Road), KY 913 (Blankenbaker Parkway), KY 1819 (Billtown Road):  Lane closures and delays possible due to pothole patching.
