 SHEPHERDSVILLE - Bushwackers Family Hair Care has come full circle. 

Wayne Berding’s first barber job was in Shepherdsville almost 25 years ago. After he graduated high school he opened a shop in Fairdale, but it was recently shut down to make room for a parking lot. 

Berding wasn’t discouraged from the business; he tried to work as a barber in downtown Louisville for several months after the closure of his shop. 

“I wasn’t fitting in,” Berding said. “I had to come back to my type of people.”
