FRANKFORT -- Rep. Dwight Butler, R-Harned (18th District) has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the Appropriations and Revenue Committee in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
“I’m pleased and humbled to be named as Vice-Chairman,” said Rep. Butler. “I pledge to work hard toward making Kentucky’s budget fiscally responsible to taxpayers, and make sure people know how their money is being spent.”
“Dwight’s selection as vice-chairman is a testament to his abilities and leadership as a legislator,” said House Republican Floor Leader Jeff Hoover, R-Jamestown. “It also reinforces the confidence Dwight’s constituents showed by selecting him as their state representative.”
In addition to being named Vice-Chairman of the Appropriations and Revenue Committee, Butler was also appointed to serve on the House Banking and Insurance; State Government; Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection committees; and the Budget Subcommittee on General Government, Finance, and Public Protection.
