SHEPHERDSVILLE – Battling the weather as much as their foes, the Bullitt Central Cougars got the 2013 season off to a good start, posting a 3-0 record over the first two weeks of the season.
The Cougars will play better opposition down the road, including a game with Butler later this week, but the quick start has been a good confidence boost.
“We have faced everybody’s best pitcher so far,” Cougar head coach G.J. Moore said over the weekend. “These weren’t the best teams, but we hit it well.”
