Thanks to the Bullitt County Agriculture Advancement Council, the new computer lab in Bullitt Central’s Agriculture Department created big news earlier this year.

Bullitt Central’s alumni will be surprised to see the new changes that have come to Room 76.

On November 20, alumni, parents, farmers, and students will have the opportunity to see these changes firsthand.

Ag Connections, an innovative crop management software company from Murray, KY, will be on hand to discuss how their software is used throughout the world and for a product demonstration.

Ag Connections provides a variety of programs and services that allow farmers to keep crop management records more easily. The areas of land management, crop production record keeping, and production cost tracking are all possible with their software offerings. Ag Connections provides farmers the ability to keep records in the field via a Windows Mobile Device; thus, closing the data gap between the field and the office. Also, for those individuals who don’t enjoy using a computer quite as much, Ag Connections provides a service called Farm by Phone, giving the farmer the ability to record field records with a phone call.

The Viewer, which serves as their web browser, allows the sharing and viewing of production data, both internally and external to the operation. In addition to the programs described, Ag Connections offer data back-up to secure web servers in an attempt to better protect farm records.

Come see the changes that have been made to the Bullitt Central Agriculture Department. Learn some of the newest and innovative ways to keep accurate farming records.
