SHELBYVILLE - Even a Rolls Royce drops a transmission every once in a while.
That was the situation for the Bullitt East Chargers on Friday as they went on the road and played flat, suffering a 55-49 loss to Martha Layne Collins High School.
The loss was the fourth this season for the Chargers, but it was the first loss to a Kentucky team not ranked in the top-10.
“It was probably our worst game of the season in not executing the game plan and the kids playing poorly,” Bullitt East head coach Troy Barr said a few days later.
