Christmas might come early this year for Mount Washington city employees.
The presents could be in the form of a 5 percent increase to their paychecks.
Councilmember Brent Wheeler proposed the 2013-2014 city budget include a 5 percent increase for all employees. The full council will vote on the budget proposal after the second reading June 10. The first reading will be at tonight’s budget meeting, which will be at 6:30 p.m. at the City Annex building. The public is invited to attend.
