SHEPHERDSVILLE - While residents clamored for the city to immediately look at where the $4 million in shortfalls went, mayor Scott Ellis knew the time wasn’t right.
Now, the timing is right.
With Shepherdsville’s financial ship back on a steadier course, Ellis received direction from the city council on Monday to seek an outside agency to begin an investigation.
The investigation would follow an internal probe started by the city’s police department.
