City correct in finding help from financial adviser

 Shepherdsville officials made the right choice on Monday night to get some professional assistance in recovering from their financial  woes.

Seldom would someone get elected to office who has the skills needed to undertake long-term financial planning, which is currently needed by the city.

To pay a company $150 an hour when you are laying off workers is a tough pill to swallow. 

However, the short-term dollars spent should pay off long-term and allow those workers to return.
