City may annex tract next to church

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - The city boundaries of the county seat appears to be growing once again.

And the latest annexation could open the way to a major producer of jobs.

The Shepherdsville City Council met on Tuesday and will meet again at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday to annex 165.19 acres.

The property owners have requested the annexation, which would eliminate the need to wait 60 days to complete the process.
