SHEPHERDSVILLE - With much of the discussion over the past couple of weeks dealing with the sewer rate increases, little attention was placed on the actual budgets.
And members of the Shepherdsville City Council unanimously approved both the general fund and the water and sewer budgets.
That approval came just hours before the midnight deadline on June 30.
“I’m happy we were able to get it done,” said first-year mayor Scott Ellis. “I wish it could have been done a little sooner. I was worried all day on Thursday.”
