SHEPHERDSVILLE - Is a bird in the hand worth holding onto? Shepherdsville leaders may have that question to consider as the lease agreement on its former city hall and police department are about to expire.
The state probation and parole office would like to continue the lease arrangement with the old city hall and the drug court program has a lease through the state Administrative Office of the Courts.
Councilman Larry Hatfield said there might be a possibility of selling both of the buildings to provide the city with some needed cash.
