SHEPHERDSVILLE - Swannie Jett knows that obesity is a growing problem for both the young and old.

Through his work as director of the Bullitt County Public Health Department, he knows the hard work being done by his staff to educate the community about the dangers.

He knows of the programs which have been offered to help them understand the dangers of obesity.

Now, Jett is tackling a larger calling in conjunction with a Louisville man who has become a big winner from appearing on the national reality show The Biggest Loser.
