The Bullitt County Public Health Department will host community flu shots again this year.
Bullitt County health department and VaxCare are partnering to offer walk-in vaccinations at the following locations:
*Lebanon Junction Community Center, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 9 a.m. until Noon
*Mount Washington Senior Center, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 9 a.m. until Noon
*Paroquet Springs Conference Centre, Tuesday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. until Noon
*Little Flock Baptist Church, Wednesday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. until Noon
Beginning on Sept. 20, walk-in flu vaccinations will be available at the Bullitt County Health Department on Tuesdays, 3-7 p.m.; Wednesdays, 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.; and Thursdays, 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Please bring your insurance card with you if you have Aetna, Anthem, Bluegrass Family Health, Centercare, CIGNA, Health Link, Humana, Mail Handlers/Coventry, Medicare, Tricare, United Healthcare, United Mine Workers, Medicaid or Passport.
Flu shots for non-insured patients or patients who do not have coverage with any insurance company listed above will be $23. The intranasal mist will be $30 and the high dose vaccine will be $45.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If you are a guardian, you must bring your guardianship paperwork with you.
Wear a short-sleeved shirt for convenience.
