MOUNT WASHINGTON — Widening heavily traveled Highway 44 from Bardstown Road to Interstate 65 in Shepherdsville is a project that many Bullitt Countians think should have been completed years ago.
The project may be closer than ever to becoming a reality, but citizens shouldn’t get too excited. Unless some large sums of money come the state’s way, it could still be years before any noticeable work is done.
