Cost seems a little high

I am writing this letter in regards to your story about the library Board buying the church and lot in Mount Washington for $400,000 and then paying approximately $150 more to have it torn down and then finding problems with asbestos and deciding to demolish the building.

This is the same board that placed a cell phone tower on the end of the runway at Blue Lick Airport jeopardizing any future for the airport.

These actions seem a little strange for a public board to do. I question how these members are appointed and what qualifications are required. And who and how they are appointed.

It is my hope that you will print this letter.
