County audit much better

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - After suffering through a series of mistake-ridden audits, local officials were very pleased with the latest analysis of Bullitt County finances.

State auditor Adam Edelen recently released the findings of the 2010-11 fiscal audit for Bullitt County government.

After past audits which had a list of improvements to make, this year’s findings contained just a single item.

The accounting firm of Tichenor & Associates was contracted by the state to conduct the audit.
