SHEPHERDSVILLE – The state auditor’s office has a large burden in making sure governmental agencies are audited each year.
To handle the workload, the state often hired independent auditing companies to perform the work.
For Bullitt County Judge/Executive Melanie Roberts, that might mean that every couple of years, a new auditing firm will be assigned to scrutinize the financial recordkeeping of the county.
