SHEPHERDSVILLE - When the soil conservation district board submitted its budget to Bullitt Fiscal Court, there was some hesitation in approving its reception.
In fact, under state law, if the county doesn’t accept the budget, it must provide reasons for the denial and suggestions on how to make it work.
In its budget, the agency requested $108,984 in county funding. The original budget presented by County Judge Melanie Roberts included $55,000, which was what was previously given.
