Bullitt County was in a prime position for the first time in many, many years in Frankfort.
The redistricting proposal would give the county two house representatives who would have the vast majority of residents and voters in their territory.
Also, the senate district would be just Bullitt and Nelson, increasing the possibility of having its own senator.
Due to concerns over the Constitutionality of the plan, a Franklin County judge struck down the new plan and put everyone back into the districts where they were before the redistricting.
