SHEPHERDSVILLE--There’s promising news for Bullitt County youth this summer. At Tuesday’s meeting Bullitt Fiscal Court voted to give the Kentucky Youth Career Center $50,000 to hire a full-time coordinator for the Kentuckiana Works SummerWorks program for one year.
The coordinator will report to the Program Manager Jennifer Welch, and focus on connecting Bullitt County youth to summer employers.
“Our students need this now,” said one of KW’s Bullitt County representatives Lou Ann Moore.
