-A A +A

Most thought smoking already banned

By Thomas Barr

SHEPHERDSVILLE - Dorothy Biddle was appearing at Bullitt Fiscal Court as part of her nursing program requirements for a course at Bellarmine University.

Little did she know that by the time she left the courthouse, there would be some changescoming to the way Bullitt County government officials deal with smoking.

And most in the public learned that there are no state or local regulations that prohibit smoking in county government buildings.

Biddle said her task was to find a local health issue and then attend a meeting to give her perspective.
