The Center for Women and Families, in association with the Bullitt County Domestic Violence Advisory Committee, will host a candlelight vigil to raise awareness of domestic violence during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in Kentucky.
The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 27, 7 p.m., in front of the Bullitt County Courthouse (In case of inclement weather it will be moved to the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville Fellowship Hall).
Patrons are encouraged to wear denim to the event as it is being held in conjunction with Denim Day, a national event to help raise domestic violence awareness.
