SHEPHERDSVILLE - Despite rising test scores, three middle schools remain targeted for failing the national No Child Left Behind report card.
As a result, middle school students from Zoneton, Bullitt Lick and Hebron have the right to seek transfers to the other three secondary schools.
However, the deadline for parents to submit the necessary paperwork is July 27.
Over the course of the past week, Greg Schultz, assistant superintendent for student learning for the Bullitt County Public School System, conducted parent meetings at the three affected schools.
