SHEPHERDSVILLE - It’s original plan was to keep the debris collection site open for several months.
However, Bullitt Fiscal Court members have decided to close the collection site at the Bullitt County Stockyards as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3.
Officials said further issues would be discussed and any necessary further actions taken during that meeting.
Because of the large amount of debris collected, along with maintaining the site and securing it 24 hours, magistrate Joe Laswell said the county was already paying over $200,000 for services.
