MOUNT WASHINGTON – What was supposed to be a public hearing regarding a controversial rezoning that would have made way for a Dollar General store turned out to be a regular meeting of the Mount Washington City Council.
With no public comment, the council unanimously passed a resolution approving the withdrawal of a request to rezone 1.4 acres between Cherry Hill subdivision and Pleasant Grove Elementary from R-3 Residential to B-1 Highway Business Monday night.
