SHEPHERDSVILLE - The shortest summer in memory has condensed the 2008 season for the Bullitt County Dolphins Swim Team into five intensive weeks of work that will culminate on Saturday at the Summer Fun League Championships at the Mary T. Meagher facility in Louisville.The Dolphins won the league title in 2005 and were second a year later. Last year, the program fell to third in the eight team competition.This week, long-time head coach Melissa Cannon is hoping to start a new drive to the top.But it has been a strange season for the local swimming program.
