Domestic Violence Month

  August 9th will forever live in infamy in my family. That day my sister, Karen was killed by her husband. Although he told many that she wouldn’t leave him alive, no one believed him. 

October is “Domestic Violence Month.” A time to remember those who lost their lives by someone close to them. I’m sure many victims believe that they are all alone in a controlling relationship. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. Tell someone (priest, minister, or any close friend), if you cannot tell your family.
