MOUNT WASHINGTON -- Every football player, coach and administrator has a long week at some point each fall.
It can happen after a loss to an arch-rival or losing your starting job to another player or failing to make an interception that could have altered the outcome of your team’s game.
That is part of football. It makes everyone stronger in the long run. That is why the game is so important for young people. Not everything goes right, no matter how hard you might try.
But every so often those involved with football go through that really long week.
