LOUISVILLE - The Bullitt East trio of of Derek Willis, Trey Rakes and Rusty Troutman were part of a Kentucky Junior All-Star squad that on Wednesday scrimmaged the 2012 Kentucky All-Stars at Trinity High School.
Willis also took part the night before when a different group of Junior All-Stars took part in a scrimmage in Lexington.
Willis led the Junior All-Stars with 16 points in a loss on Wednesday while Rakes had one point. Troutman failed to score.
Even with the two scrimmages, it was a tough weekend for the Kentucky All-0Stars as they were swept in two games against the Indiana All-Stars.
Willis, who has committed to the University of Kentucky, will be part of a group of Kentucky Junior All-Stars that will scrimmage a group of Indiana All-Stars this week.
